We have a different outlook to coaching, we are not there to watch from the beach and just film, we are there to teach them how to catch their own waves, where to sit and how to paddle faster for longer. At Little Frothers we will teach our students the importance of understanding the ocean and feeling comfortable even when you're scared. Narrowneck Long Boarding Surf Club 

situated at Narrowneck on the Gold Coast. Born in 1986. Competition days run on the second Sunday of each month, conditions permitting. There are different heats throughout the year such as the 8ft round, Log round 3 times a year and a new over 65's category as of 2024.

Highly recommend for anyone at any level (even if you wanted to learn to surf) wanting to join a local and friendly longboarding club on the Gold Coast.

 On February 3 2022, the World Surf League (WSL) announced a new policy allowing trans women to compete in its women’s category if they prove their testosterone levels fall within a defined range. For Sasha Jane Lowerson, an Australian trans woman and professional longboarder, the decision represented years of effort to create a more inclusive environment for trans women in sports. Lowerson became the first out trans woman to win a professional surf competition. So now Sashas offering learn to surf coaching in Bali and video analysis to help you surf more like a pro! She will be our backbone on our surfing camp in Bali.
